3" lift on a 2009 4x4

I am new to fully understand lifts, but want to a 3" lift on my Taco. My Taco already comes with Beilstein shocks and I hear they are far some of the best out there. When lifting I dont want to mess with this compartment. I also hear that lifting and adding bigger tires make the tires rub on the fenders. What is the biggest sized tires I can get without having this complication? I hear there's a lift called Ready Lift and it keeps all of your stock compartment original. Is this a good lift? Any other advice is greatly taken. I dont plan on off-roading I want to lift for stlye. Thanks.

 

Depends on what you are going to use your truck for. With a 3" lift, you can put on 33"s with some minor trimming around the fenders. Nothing major at all.

 

Here is my truck, an 09 TRD Sport with Toytec coil overs, it has 33" (285-70-17) tires. Trimming is minor, I had to cut off the front part of the plastic inner fender lining and remove the front mud flaps. The part that I cut off the inner lining was the part that protrudes out close to the front of the tire. That was it, very very simple.

3 in lift from Toytec (884 coil over and add-a-leaf), BFG A/T 285 70 r17 (32.7 in), No trimming and does not rub.

ok..I might be mistaken..883's perhaps? I opted for the kit without the shocks, but later regretted it and ended up ordering the Bilstein 5100's later.

I'm running Nitto 285/60R18 dune grapplers with 18" wheels and 3"toytec coilover in front and AAL in the rear.

 

Okay well theres 884's, 885's and 886's. I only ask because the 884's are more for the access cabs since they have less weight and the 885's are for or double cabs since they weigh more. 886's are for trucks that have aftermarket bumpers or winches.

I got my lift before toytec recommended the 885's for double cabs. I have the 884s But I have plenty of trimming, especially without the swaybar and ucas.
