My GF said i'm not allowed to get another car yet lol..was thinking about the BRZ.

I was considering trading in about 8 months ago for the updated 2012 face, but the dealership offered me 12k trade-in off the bat..guess i'll keep it or sell it private party later. Jest waiting for the title to come in the mail :)

hard to say about the flywheel, it looked ok from what i could see. I did the work myself, changing the starter took maybe 20min?

    20130115115026_7e11472b80e11df104e565e05501929158b76fcc.jpg

a few of the teeth looked a little chewed, but only a few.

the previous starter had shaft play when the gear would extend and spin.

dunno if i've just been "lucky" with pre-mature starter failures or if my car is really chewing them up...

it's been a little strange. that this starter up and quit on me without warning, but the one previous was back and forth.

FEDEX just brought me my weathertech floor mats. Took out of box, replaced OE mat holders w/ theirs and laid mine in. 5 min and complete. They look good and have great coverage over the carpet.

Got some chepo seat covers :D they don't look toooooo bad. (i don't think) just want them for protection and didn't want to spend a ton of money on nice ones.

then plasti-dipped my gas cap and my hub caps on my wheels :D

Did the DIY aux mod with my single-disk, non-JBL. My total cost was under $4. Works awesome! :yay:

left my poor truck at the body shop. Thought it was just the tailgate but the bedsides got pulled in. Now they are pulling off the bed to check the frame. And once the old tailgate was pulled off, looks like Billy's bumper got damaged :(

Took out the rear headrests in my Access cab...PITA. While I was at it I spray painted the stock JBL subwoofer black since I had to take the sub out anyway, looks much better IMO.
