ouch that doesnt sound too fun! hope it goes well for you. the orthopedic surgeon i visited thinks its just a partial tear since i still have a good range of motion, but they need to do an MRI to be sure. I can still lift an all but like you said its all very light stuff, just to stay in the game haha.

My halos are back and brighter than ever!! too bad it took me alllllll day long. atleast everything is weatherproof and much cleaner than before! pics coming tmrw....time to sleep!

Looking good as always, what happened to your halos and why do you say there brighter now?

Also could you take a pick or two at dusk or dark with just the halos on like the pic below.

 

Thanks, the other ones started to die out. The little individual leds started burning out due to the voltage regulator. TRS sent out version 2.0 of the halos which included a new upgraded regulator and the halos, which now have a metal backing vs just a plastic ring on the original. All in all looks like they knew exactly what to improve, and it made it easy for a clean install.

Ill try and get a pic later tonight but yea they are atleast 3x brighter.

how many coats of night shade did you do to your tail lights?

 

Pics dont do it justice but heres some at dusk

 

i did about 2-3 coats within 5 min of eachother. if you do a couple coats, let dry for more than 20min then go back with another coat it gives it a ruff look, not the smooth and shiny youd get from the first method

 

Thanks for the pics man, they do seem a bit brighter.

As for tinting your tail lights as long as you follow the write up on here and wet sand the you shouldnt have a problem with them being textured.

 

no prob, i had some fun with the pics and edited them for the first page too

and yes agreed wet sanding is for the best look. i did the basic wipe clean and spray

 

Has the cops giving you any shit about the tail lights?

 

not a single one and ive been pulled over by 2 motorcycle cops with them. they didnt mention anything except for fukin mudflaps....
