ROFL! Oh wait, that should be :( since I plan to buy one this Spring.

I figure that if I asked a Toyota exec why the base model doesn't come with any features, his response would probably be, <Japanese>"Sir, you are lucky we even make that truck at all!"</Japanese>

According to Toyota.com, the base model 2013 Taco comes "standard" with:
So theoretically, the newest Tacomas all do have traction control, but maybe some of the older Gen 2 Tacos didn't? :notsure:

This picture of a 2013 base model, regular cab seems to show a traction control button:

Also note the "Display Audio" radio... seems odd they'd put that in a base model?

Ya, 2008 came with none of that.
It has "Smart Stop" thanks to the floor mat recall, but it wasn't factory.

But no buttons at all. No cruise, no intermittent wipers.

I have the same switch as you. To make it fit in one of the slots, I wrapped a zip tie around the switch and put it in. Looks like oem lol

Got a 10" kicker for graduation with an Alpha 600watt amp egyru7ap_7d799e4f8f3fab7d5c9d9dcc1bac310746c0e1f8.jpg

Also when I had my car washed, this rubber piece was either stolen or sucked up.... pyhy2ave_911b750df8756d8ff8b4aa0fa92fabf3890c7ad7.jpg

Went down to discount tire and got an estimate for these wheels and tires

Anywhere from $1,100 to $1,400 based on the buy back price of my tires I've currently got on.
I would like to go with street tires to save money, maybe like these but I don't know the size u5e5ymyg_0581850cad943e811aba5881f9e2b9b564ca31e4.jpg

I also freaking love the look of this truck, but i don't know if its lifted or if its just the tires on it, but I love the bushwacker bolt on fender flares. ege8y4u5_a2c9c2d28aeffa1d4c7bbed2d2d60aff07d793c5.jpg
