SCMD (SoCal Mod Day) 2 is here!!!!!!!!

I installed my CB today because I'm going off-roading with a buddy this weekend (he has a Jeep). I promise I'll leave the light install for SCMD 2.

I'm very pleased with myself. I didn't think I could do that! I'll post a how to tomorrow and you can see pictures there.

Do you have a CB yet? I hear Wal-Mart has them right now for about $30. Did you see that?

 

I've got a CB, but I have a magnetic mount antenna.

 

if you all need help wiring in you CB's I can bring my electrical gear and rools of wire and loom. I can also bring some abs plastic if you need me to make a mount for you.

 

Oh, OK. I heard those are pretty good. I don't know much about the magnetic antenna's, but we'll figure it out.

haha funny I just do alot of installs so i am just offering help unless you don't need any. I am good at custom installs. I have almost everything for wiring up anything in a vehicle so I figure I might as well help out if someone needs it.

 

Derek, you looking for a cb mount, i had the magnetic mount and it worked good, gave it to a buddy, got it at fry's for 20 bucks.

what's going on with truck.

 

I've got a magnetic one, but if I'm going to make a permanent mount in the bed it would be easier with one that's not magnetic.

 

I got mine from Radio Shack (or is it shaq?)

It was about $80, but the packaging was all messed up and they had to go dig for it in the back so when the guy came back with it, I was like, "I don't really want to pay that much for something that looks like that. I'll give you 40." So, we setteled on $50. I didn't know that they could do that but I figred why not ask!

 

Well...I'm doing wheel and tires shopping right now, and look like I'm settling down with the Enduros and Nitto Terra grapplers. As for the Head Unit I got a great deal on a D3 but have absolutely no Idea how to install it . As for the Temperature console I found a deal on Ebay and last but not least is that I got a Cb with PA speaker with molded mount firefly....

 

Well I certainly think that someone will need your expertise. You're work is amazing and perfect. It looks like you're as anal as me when it comes to clean looking trucks!
