Having majored in marketing... I would tend to agree: MARKETING, more specifically advertising = BRAINWASHING!

So you're getting in your truck and going down to DC to rebel?

    Yea, didn't think so. STFU

I fully agree and never though of it that way. The US has had approx 2.75 million soldiers killed or injured since it's inception so we could all live the American dream and be free.

Lets not forget about the majority of us hiding behind their ultimate sacrifice EVERY DAY you wake up.

How is this still going on?! Chris4x4 is the only person who provided a legitimate case to persuade someone that owning a gun can have benefits and he did it without attacking anyone or putting someone down for their opinion. Why are we arguing about something we can't control? Good luck overthrowing the government when they decide how to control guns. When was the last time they consulted us for a law? Never.

Funny... I have several firearms locked up at home. No one took them away. We just don't give them out to mentally ill/dangerous people. Like driving, it's a privilage, not a right. As a result, things are safer here with respect to gun control.

Some people have no clue. I was talking to OZ about this the other day... Something like 20% of Canadian households have firearms. People just like to change facts for their cause and only end up making themselves look like idiots.

I wasn't arguing about how many firearms are in Canadian households. I'm far from an idiot.

This is some thing we can control. And if need be.. Over throw the government to do so. That what the 2nd amendment lets us do. There are a lot of groups holding marches in different states to have people show up armed and open carry in front of there capitol buildings. I think if enough people show up in DC armed and asking for change, change will happen. What kind? Good question. It could settle the gun debate once and for all.

No worries. I find the debate at hand interesting, and I respect other people's opinions because they are entitled to it. I don't understand why people have to result to insult or get mad when no fingers or accusations are being pointed. Try to keep it civil maybe? geez. (I'm talking to EVERYONE btw.) Some of the comments... I just don't know lol. I'm glad it's not face to face.. Some might actually pull their guns out. :)
