UUU anyone?

Not sure if it trades outside of the TSX, but UUU (Uranium One) is one of the highest traded Uranium stocks on the market for many reasons, and hit a low of 1.78 about a month ago. I bought in at 1.98 and 2.34 and its been up to 2.47 and sits 2.30 now. With the new Japanese government being pro Uranium and getting ready to kick it up a notch, is anyone else investing in this? I am and own 5000 shares but Im only new at this and wondering if anyone whos more advanced has an opinion? Im currently up close to 1k and thinking its ready to jump A LOT higher soon

Do you know how great your call on this was? They ended up going private after you sold for $0.04 less than you sold at...nice work!

 

Ya I sold the day they made the announcement though. Was hovering around 230-240 the day before. Once they announced the stock instantly went to about 2.80 and has stayed around there still because theres a long process to the sale of a company. Personally, I hope it doesnt go through, because with the Uranium shortage coming in the next few years this is a 6-10 dollar possible stock. Oh well

 

Last time I was in minerals it was DNN (Dension Mines) and I did great with it...in at $1.78 and out during the MASSIVE bump in 2011...sold at $3.9X...

Uranium is tough...because we all SHOULD be moving to it as a source of power but then Japan goes and melts down and that got a little dicey...

 

The best short term Uranium plays out there right now are Alpha Minerals and Fission Uranium IMHO.
