ohh I thought it meant something else but I was close :p
    I have another question though.
If I cut the wires for my stock blinkers and ran them up to this same housing still, but instead of the stock blinker bulb and socket etc.. rig up an amber LED 194 light bulb and socket into the side marker light housing to use as my blinkers, then after that connect a wire tapped into the power for the side markers so I get constant power from the side markers, to the "old blinkers" on the bottom valence so they turn on like fog lights and are always on if my side markers are on as well. Or are those bulbs not meant to be on all the time?

Yes you can run LEDs instead no problem with stock blinker wires.

No I would not tap either wire for a fog light. The wire will be too small for the draw. I'd set up just a separate switch and relay.

The side markers can be one all ya want. That's why there is a switch :p

So I'm going to cut wires from my stock blinkers, wire them to a new 194 and socket amber LED light bulb that i'm going to drill a hole and hook up into the side marker housing. Then find some kind of fog light or LEDs or whatever i want to be wired to a switch in the cab, and located in the stock blinker housing. Where would you hook these up to get power though?

Anyone got a link or place to buy 3157 sockets? I want to do this mod but then wire new 3157 sockets into the old blinker housing but i don't know where to buy the sockets, what LEDs to buy that aren't switchbacks I only want white LED. And where to get power from

Lol no the relay. The numbers correspond to the pins on a 4 post relay. And really a 5 pin but there is an 87a and 87b

I'm going to order another set of blinker housings so I can do this with my 03 by cutting up the blinker housing the way you're supposed to do it with 01-04. Then somehow put so HIDs in my old blinker housing!

Do NOT put HIDs in the blinker housings. They will melt the housings

You can get a bit more powerful bulb or led 1156 bulb but do not put HIDs in there

Plenty to come... Still
I have. I heated up my stock blinker housing out of my 98 and pried the orange covers and then used some small bolts and nuts to bolt I'm a smal set of square lights. I used a relay instead of the switch I was given with the lights and simply tapped my parking lights wire to trip the fogs. I wanted them to come on with the parking lights and off with them just incase I ever forgot to turn them off. I shouldn't forget now because my truck beeps like hell if I try and get out and my lights are still on

not sure really. Most people do this mod due to getting anew bumper that doesnt have the blinkers. Thats why i did it.

You can get brighter bulbs in an 1156 socket though
