I'd be down for a DFW meet sometime in Feb.
If only I had more garage space and more money for toys. :D

Speaking of needing more money. I'm also selling something on Craigslist. Pair of HUGE horn speakers I built a while back. I have like 6 pairs of speakers in the closet. These haven't gotten any play time in a while so I'm offering them up stupid cheap. If ya'll know anyone looking for some speakers let me know!

Okay so what should i do, get 6000 rounds of ammo (5000 .22lr 1000.223) or buy a .22lr pistol. I was looking at a gsg 1911-22 for $350

My buddy shot a .22-250 for one deer season then never picked it up ever again. He lost a lot of deer with that rifle. Too small of a hole.

    Moved up to a 25-06

    So ID choose a 30-30

I had some of that last time I had pneumonia. I thought it said table spoons...it didn't.
So around lunch time my friend comes to my cubicle since we always go out to eat. Said I was furious because, "The carpet has been trying to escape all day!"

Have y'all seen or heard about the pic of FB of the guy in Utah that was open carrying his AR15 in JCPenny? Was doing it to prove a point about guns not being dangerous and we have the right to have the means to defend ourselves in public. Perfectly legal...

Might bring mine with me next time I go to the store

I'll alert the local PD first...

The problem is while it may be legal to carry the rifle they can still get you for other stuff if they really want to. I have heard of police departments picking up the person for causing a disturbing the peace and other petty crap like that. While it actually isn't disturbing the peace there may be enough "public disturbance" to cause them to give you a ride and let you plead your case to the judge.

I would call the local PD and get their two cents on it before actually doing it.

In other breaking news; I setup my new to me desktop last night. I purchased a refurbished PC through work and Aaron got me hooked up with a sweet deal on some dual 19" monitors last summer. It is pretty sweet to be running Win 7 Pro x64 with 6Gb RAM and dual monitors. Now my virtual labs should not crash and I can actually get more crap done for school. It is kind of ironic I finally get this done with two semesters to go.

Oh yeah; did this all for about $225.

For spending 10x what I did I hope you get more than just that. I've used a couple of Mac desktops. They were nice machines and I really do like the standard wireless keyboard and mouse. I did not like the price tag.
