Although some of my engineering teachers are getting just as bad it seems on some things. Like one of my teachers will only accept homework on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper and only 1 sided. If it doesn't meet that criteria he literally just rights a zero on it without looking at it... I've seen him do it!

No shit huh! I wish there weren't races. I find the whole racist thing pretty stupid... I've met people of pretty much every race now, that I like and don't like. I could care less what race someone is, I don't judge them until after I have gotten to know them.

I've heard native hawaiian tend to be pretty racist towards now Hawaiians though... Although as big as Oahu is and as many tourists as there are there I could see it being pretty tame and it was. Everyone I met was surprisingly friendly.

Toyota Motor Corp. has recently agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging sudden acceleration of several of its vehicles for roughly $1.1 billion. In recent years, Toyota has received a large number of reports that its vehicles accelerated when drivers did not intend to accelerate, leading to accidents and even death.

This settlement occurs in the wake of several recalls in the past few years, damaging the motor vehicle manufacturer's reputation. Toyota endured several congressional hearings regarding the recalls.

The settlement is intended to resolve hundreds of lawsuits brought by Toyota owners who claim the value of their vehicles is substantially diminished by a series of Toyota recalls stemming from sudden acceleration claims.

The settlement is a landmark settlement in automobile defect class action litigation in this country. In order to be finalized, the California Federal Judge overseeing the class action must approve the settlement.

Although the settlement is not meant to compensate Toyota owners who experienced sudden acceleration and suffer damages, the company has stated that it plans to retrofit its vehicles with brake-override systems to give the vehicles an additional safety feature to prevent sudden acceleration.

Well 1st off, I think every single case was in a prius except for one that was in a Camry. The Camry issue was the floor mat holding down the accelerator.

I never followed the situation very closely but I thought it was starting to come down to most of the cases being fake and the owners of the Priuses (liberal hippies, as I call them) basically saw it as an opportunity to make some money for free. Like the person that sued McDonalds over the coffee being hot...

I don't think he ever left... He just pops in ever once in a while to bash on Ian and Toyota. He clearly must be pretty jealous of Ian to go so far as to stalk him on a Toyota forum since I don't think he even has one...

I dont think I would sell it for less than 6k. As for the mods, eh, id probably get the lift off it, or just upgrade that down the road with something nicer, the bumper will really only fit that truck, id take the wheels n tires, all the lights, air filter, , i wouldnt lose much really.
