Me too but I know nothing about them and I feel like right now is the wrong time to start. Maybe ill wait a couple months and wait for the market to come back to sane prices and having things back in stock.

Niice. Drop a night force on it. A guy at my local range has one. Nice gun. Sucks when he's there though that armalite break is crazy. Throws shit everywhere. He used to come and set up beside me..... However now that I have a 50bmg he gets a taste of his own medicine. Haha. Btw I shoot in 1000yd competitions and the most used scope is night force. I have a SWFA ss 20x scope. It works pretty good.

I would not own an over/under cheaper than the CZ Canvasback, and I'd only buy one if I could find the older ones when they were Huglu or shortly after. I've seen too many Condors and Baikals and Mossbergs to ever spend money on one.

But if I were to buy one again I'd skip all the cheap ones and drop the $1100 or so to get into a Citori.

My old CZ - good gun for the $500 I paid back in the early '00s. Current production guns are of significantly lower quality.

Only had a range bag for a rest but sighted it in at 25 yds and was getting 3" groups for a mag of 10. Would surely do better with an actual rest. This thing doesn't like to eject mags when dirty - I need to do the drop-free mag mods.

My MKIII will not drop a mag, it is a design thing. They will drop 1/2" or so then must be removed by hand. I have the Comp/Target model put out by Talo. Considering trading it in for a new light though, unless I buy a Pack-Lite barrel, who knows.

Right, but you can switch out a couple parts with Mark II parts that will allow it to drop free. My problem with this one is that it wasn't dropping mags at all - they were just sticking in place.

You probably know that PacLite gear for Rugers consists of an entire upper, and is a serialized part treated as a firearm, complete with NICS check, etc.

I would love to buy one. There's a shop by me with 1 left. But I can't justify the use for it.

    It's registered as a pistol.
