Now I only wear googles instead of safety glasses most of the time. And battery acid is a mother fucker in your eye btw. To me safety glasses are pointless unless they tuck up to you face, to many times I've had stuff hit my eye lids or under my glasses.

Not sure what texture you want but herculiner is very rough, if that's what you want, otherwise i would go with something else. I used some leftover on my tailgate as a test with no prep, dirty, its actually held up well, so i can see that it would do well with the proper prep.

Before i wore glasses i was religious about wearing them, but its a bitch to west them over, I've decided i need to buy a pair of prescription safety glasses. I work in a fab shop and never had a problem, little bits here and there but somehow a drop decided to go horizontal and vertical, weird.

I've had mine for about a year, far as I can tell still as bright. The Ultras like clock work would die after a year. So I'm waiting to see if these last longer.

Thanks for all the helpful tips guys! I've still got my free sample of fluid film lying around. I've just gotta go get some de-icer now. Hopefully it'll solve the issue.

I've been considering painting my bumper too because I'm getting tired of keeping armorall on it even though I get all I want for free lol. What did you use? I have heard of people having good results with regular paint but I was thinking about using vinyl and trim dye out of a spray can.
