There is no need for anything bigger than 2.25. Don't want it to be obnoxious.

Hey guys I am in search of a stock muffler, dont necessarily need the pipes or anything. But I am in bad need of one. Guy I bought truck from did some hacked up sh*% on the exhaust. An example is he welded bolts together in links to hang exhaust with... Yeah... So I would appreciate it if you weren't planning on using it or chunking it, please let me know. Ill pay shipping and all and will toss you what I can spare. It would definitely be appreciated!

Aero turbine people..... Does it quiet it down at all compared to having no muffler? I have no muffler now and it is very loud. I don't want to put one on and be like wow should have just left it off.

I have mine off, i have an slp muffler for it, i put it on when i get annoyed or long trips, i have it clamped on rather than wasting money to get it welded and be stuck on there
If your gonna buy a muffler just get a clamp

I plan on buying a electric cutout and putting it right before the stock muffler, so I can have obnoxious noise when I want but just switch back to the stock exhaust when I feel like it. I'm also going to get rid of all the pipe after the stock muffler.

What kind of clamp do you use? And just wondering your saying the 2.25 stock pipe fits snug with the 2.5 aero turbine?

I dont know if it would with that muffler since i personally dont have it but i dont see why it shouldnt
..i dont know the name of the type of clamp but it looks just like a u bolt with a bottom rounded piece and two bolts on each end that allow it to be tightened
I havent experienced any exhaust leaks the whole time I have had it

My pipe is cut off right before my rear axel at the moment and is sooo loud. I used to run no muffler dualed out the back. This is so loud in the cab now compared
