Hey guys, anyone around the Westminster area could help me install my retrofit lights? Buy you a 12 pack or pay you somehow. Thanks

A small handful of select mods.
Is the kit in the housing already and the lights just need to be installed or are you needing help with the tear down and install? I think NYCO is the only person in the CO group with experience on retro fit builds. I have a set of headlights I plan to do this to soon but it is a couple of months out still.

I need help with the tear down and install, I have no real experience with opening up the headlight, I bought a mini d2s kit. Just don't trust myself with opening up the headlight. Or if someone can help me with opening up the headlight, I can try the install myself?

remove all screws, rubber and lights

preheat the oven to 300*...when it hit 300*, turn it off...put headlight on a piece of cardboard or something (something that won't melt or burn)....

leave in there for 7-10 mins...take a flat head screwdriver and maybe some pliers and slowly separate a corner of the headlight...start with a corner then as you start to separate the pieces, the rest will separate easier and easier as you're able to get better grip on the two pieces..

remember to watch out for a few tabs that you will want to make sure you don't break...you'll see them

when you put them back together...first clean up the area as much as you can...you can either remove all the old sealant or clean it up a bit and add a bit of silicone sealant to help create a watertight seal...heat up the two pieces and put back together...put back in the oven for a couple more minute to heat up the sealant again a bit (helps allow you to push the two pieces together better)..take out and clamp together while it dries.

when the pieces are apart, follow directions with the retro kit...take your time and have a plan set out in your head or on paper before completing this...don't just wing it
