    99.99% foot on slider, <.01% slider on rock,
    and the possible door dinger if I choose not to park in the farthest space from the mall entrance.
    Currently runnin' OEM Tube Steps, not a scratch in 3 years.
    Purchase staggering is also irrelevant, research time is the hold up.
    Rather buy sliders (and/or lift, wheels, tires, etc) in a few months at full price,
    than impulse buy now and find something I'd like better, next month.
    Derek's Sliders look great, and I'd probably be perfectly happy with 'em........but
    As said in my 1st post, I've put myself behind the 8 ball.

    I always have another question. :rolleyes:
    What's the standard angle of your Sliders?
    And do you customize?
    I'm sure I'll come up with some more

    Nice product, great mounting design.
    But much to my Self Inflicted Disappointment, I should pass on the immediate purchase

    Oh, customize angle, as in +2° or -2° if I didn't like the standard angle
    (as an example, less angle better for step)

    Guess I answered it myself, just ran across this.
    Looks like little to no angle, square tube support and inner rail
    Is this your customizing?

    I plan to buy sliders soon and these are in the final cut. Can someone tell me how far they stick out? I've been reading all over and can't seem to find it for these. Center or outer edge of tube to frame or pinch weld, whatever you can get. I want true sliders of course, but sadly my immediate concern is protection against urban door dings. :(

    Thanks DoorDing (ironic name). :) I saw you posted that before when I was reading but couldn't find an exact measurement so I asked. Appreciate any measurement you can get. I'm stock right now but plan on a 1.5 to 2" lift soon which should help against the cars too.

    I have installed several sets simply just by myself. No jack stands, no second person. It is fairly easy.
