Do you know if the vinyl and trim dye will get water spots as bad as paint? I did some stuff on my old mustang with satin black paint and it got water spots real bad after a few months.

Not sure but I've never had that problem before. I wouldn't think it would

Put in a new radiator, turns out that it's about an inch too tall so now my front skid doesn't fit...

Use Duplicolor vinyl and fabric dye. (see attached)

Plasti-dipped the chrome (bumper and grill) and dyed the valance about 2 weeks ago, has seen rain and mud and has held up great!

Looks good man! I actually have a can of that stuff at home from when I 2 toned the door panels on my last Tacoma about 4 years ago. I also bought a can of plasti-dip a couple weeks ago to mess around with. Just haven't had a chance to try anything yet. The dye matches the dip pretty well! How many cans of the dye did you use for the bumper? 3/4 of a can did 4 coats on both my doors, and then I redid them with another 2 coats a year or so after.

The first place I looked was Lowes, then just about every other hardware store in the area. Kind of annoyed that I couldn't find it. And on top of that I couldn't even wash my truck today because none of the car washes allow you to hand wash your vehicle...

Here are some horrible shots. I'll get some better ones coming up. Keep in mind, my headlight housings are super fogged (I need to restore them) & there isn't any cool subject matter- like an open field to compare on, also I didn't do my brights...etc.

Things we can conclude from this:

I didn't do brights for my neighbors sake,

The lights are white, and not blue, and that wall is cream colored

Sorry for not being much help
