Because that is kick ass! I'm sure Chris will still be proud. Who knows, maybe I can convince him to have another one someday.

Looks great! I've been trying to Fab up a roof bracket for my 1st Gen and it's not easy.

How do you have the wiring routed since it comes out in the middle of the bar?

It runs along the side of the light, down the driver side bracket and through the roof. I already had to drill four holes in the roof, what's one more.

nice work! I'm also running OKLEDLIGHTBARS.com 40" on the roof. Puts out crazy amount of light and at a decent price.

i just got back from my friendly neighborhood fabber regarding the same thing.

It's not bad. It lights up the hood, but it's not annoying. Done triple digits. It's not quiet, but it's very solid.

    Nice! They are awesome.

Drilling into your roof isn't that bad. Just you a lot of silicon.

Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
even with the double cabs that have the welded in nuts on the roof, you still have to silicone for a proper seal. I also have a couple more holes drilled to run all of my wires. it really isn't a big deal. just check under the headliner before you drill. some places are much easier to run wires than others along the roof rail.

If there's any glare that bothers you, just get some matte vinyl installed on the spot and it should be good...ill be doing my skewp just in case.
My main concern is wind resistance...do you feel a difference with it on?

On really windy days (20mph+), yes. Especially during a cross wind, but on your average day it's not that loud or noticeable.

God that thing looks freaking beautiful! I am getting the same front bumper in a few weeks, and seeing that light bar like that on the roof is gonna drive me nuts now. Maybe Billy could do something if your friend isn't going to mass produce them ;)
