Late but, its a great way to switch things up for cheap :D I did mine and it works great, just make sure to have a few coats on case you decide to switch back, makes things a lot easier

Looks great! Our trucks are going to be twins soon haha. I'm trying to find toyota fender flares but they are impossible to find.

It definitely is. Cost me like $13 bucks and I still have a decent amount left over to play with. I ended up doing 3 coats so I should be good.

I worked on the truck a little today. Changed oil, rotated tires, painted drums gloss black, plastidipped wheels, center caps, and the toyota emblem in the grille. Turned out really good I think.

Oh and somehow I managed to smash myself in the forhead with a lug wrench. Now I have a nice knot and a cut. And a headache.

I've asked this question in a couple of threads now but never got a response:

Are there flat black lug nuts that fit our trucks?

I dunno man. My gut feeling is it could be the best paint job in the world but once the air ratchet hits them, they're done.

maybe. but we rattlecan smaller stuff here at work with rustoleum and the paint lasts a few days of beating and banging. usually when the piece bends then it all starts coming off.

There is no way any type of spray paint with any type of prep work will withstand an impact gun and a hard chrome socket. One time removing the lugs and they will be done.
