Really ?... I kinda see this as an even game, Both teams seem to line up pretty even to me on both sides of the ball.

Nah the Raven are old on defense and not as good on special teams. I think the Ravens finished somewhere around 17th for overall defense, San Fran was top 3?

I do think the offenses are equal.

49ers best team in the NFL this year. Seahawks were #2. NFC West is going to be beast next year.

Well, it doesn't matter how the two offenses match up, or the two defenses. What matter is how each offense matches up with the other team's defense. This is going to be tough game for both teams. Excellent OL/DL for both teams. Great running game. The Ravens are probably deeper at WR, but I'll give the slight edge to the 49ers at QB, only because Kap can run it.

I can't say the Seahawks were the second best team. I'd give them third in the NFC, behind the 9ers and Atl. I mean...considering atl played a week longer than Seattle did.

Michigan Man through and through, so I wanted to see Brady win, but Jim Harbaugh will be fine as well- just as long as that murdering bastard Lewis gets denied.

I think the Rams are going to surprise a lot of people next season as well. They just need a few more pieces added to the puzzle and look out. The Cardinals on the other hand-Tim Tebow here he comes.

I am so psyched for this game! Mostly because I'm a Ravens fan, but the 49ers are my #2 team. I was wishing and praying for this game all year.

I wouldn't put to much weight on the Ravens defensive performance during the regular season. They were probably the most injured defense throughout the whole year. Suggs went down in the beginning due to his achilles and again for his torn bicep, Ray went down half way through the season with his torn tricep, Webb (CB) went down with his knee, Jimmy smith (CB) went down with a sport hernia, Ngata (DT) has been playing with an injured shoulder, Reed (FS) has something torn in his shoulder, and Pollard (SS) had an injury to his chest that sidelined him for a few weeks. Most of these guys are now back, mostly healthy and playing. I would say, based on their last 4 performances that they are back to playing elite defense against arguably the 4 toughest offensive opponents.

    Week 16 Vs Giants
Ravens defense held them to 2 TDs and 186 Total yards

    Wildcard Weekend Vs Colts
Ravens defense gave up 419 Total yard but 0 touchdowns

    Divisional Playoffs Vs Broncos
Ravens gave up 398 yards and only 3 Touchdowns to Peyton Manning

    AFC Championship Week vs Pats
Ravens defense gave up 428 yards but held them to only 1 TD against Brady

Its just awesome to see the Ravens offense clicking on all cylinders now, too. After 5 years of inconsistent offensive performances.

The Ravens and the 49ers are probably the two most physical teams in the NFL. I have a feeling this superbowl is going to be awesome.
