Mind>>>blown. Learn something new everyday here. I also thougt more caster will move the wheel foward in the wheel well. Makes sense though how bjmoose expained it.

On the instructions for alignment by spc it says to max out caster on the LCA cams, get caster where you want it with the adjustable UCAs then dial back the LCA cams to get camber perfect. It all makes sense now :D

well... given i have TC UCA, and they are not adjustable, i can only adjust from the oem lower control arms. TC UCA have added caster built into them. im at 1.4 Caster now, if increase caster from the lower control arm/eccentric cams i will INCREASE Clearance.

so... if im rubbing in reverse now with 1.4 and i raise that back up to 2.4-2.9 degree caster from the LCA it will give me more clearance at the cab mount (which i want) because its not hitting the front fender or wheel well at all right now. i have a lot of extra room towards the front that i want to move the wheel forward maybe 0.5 inches would be perfect

had me all worried for a little bit there

Probably stay where it is with 884's , you may get another 1/2" with 885's

So it wouldn't have a huge difference in looks with a half inch?

Pretty sure top plate spacers are bot recomended with 886s. Let someone else confirm that. Are you planning on adding extra weight up front?

No need for top plate spacers to get 3" with 886's

With your access cab the 886x may push you above 3" of lift without the top plates.

Anyone know if the FJ and Tacoma OME coils are interchangeable? There's a guy selling the front setup but he said he had it on his FJ, he says it'll fit tacomas as well.

The coils appear to be, but it depends on the year for the shocks according to Toytec.
FJs '10 & up take a different shock.

Thanks that helps a lot. One other thing, the guy says they're 884 coils. I have a v6 double cab and I know I'm supposed to have the 885s but how much of a difference does it make? I'm ok if I don't get the full 3 inches, in fact I'd prefer closer to 2.5 anyways.

You're not 'supposed' to have any specific coil. 883, 884, 885 and 886 all fit the Tacoma and you can choose which coil you prefer based on the amount of lift you want. 884's will put you right around 2" of lift.
