I have a 2011 Trek Cobia as well. It is a solid bike for sure. You have one of the best riding spots in your backyard in Duthie. I have heard great reviews about it but have yet to go. I definitely want to get up there soon.

Yeah just be sure to measure from bottom edge of head tube on frame to where the axle would be when assembled.. This axle to crown measurement needs to be very close on whatever fork you add or you risk frame damage and goofing up the geometry with too tall a fork. Probably gonna be looking at around an 80mm travel fork.

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
I've been neglecting my Butcher since getting a pinch flat on her in November which is also the same time I finished my new '12 Nomad carbon build. I decided to give her a little parts update today---and finally giving her a proper color theme(if you know my builds you know this is a must lol).

    - Fresh tires and a new rear tube(flat) - 2.35 Maxxis High Rollers front and rear
    - replaced the old Answer Protaper 780mm/31.8mm clamp bar & Easton stem with a new aluminum Easton 800mm/53mm clamp & Easton 35er stem
    - New red Troy Lee ODI lock on grips
    - replaced the old Avid Elixir CR's with brand new Shimano XT M785 front & rear brake set w/180mm Shimano XT Ice Tech rotors on both wheels
    - replaced the old black Azonic Outlaw wheelset with a new red Azonic Outlaw wheelset
    - replaced the old Crank Brothers 50/50 "shin tenderizer" pedals with new red Azonic 420 pedals

Thanks man! I might be hitting up Braille Trail this Saturday with a grip of friends! Hopefully the "slight chance of rain"(20%) stays slight haha.

I need to explore the trails out there some more, I have only ridden there a few times. I usually just go into Nisene since I live pretty close to the entrance.
Haha I can believe it! Last year was a warm one.
