I am in the same situation as you, we actually have the same truck but mine is a 5 speed and a pre runner. I have searched a total of 10 hours and have not found a review on TW of a specific brand of eBay/Amazon fog lights. But I found this review on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Lights-Lamps-Toyota-Tacoma-2006/dp/B0072L6VEY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&m=A2LTHX8KOGL52C&qid=1353811685&s=generic&sr=1-3 . I want my fogs to look and work just like the stock fog lights on Tacomas that came with them.

may want to take a look. you may be pre wired for OEM. i know some trucks are and just don’t have the lights installed. so may want to take a good look and see.

I could be wrong but I think that the ones that are pre-wired are 6cyl. I haven't talk to a 4cyl guy yet who had pre-wiring for fogs.

I have a 4cyl SR5 and its not pre wired. I just ordered fog lights off eBay and in the description it said the brand was "DEPO Auto Parts"-- does anyone have any experience with these lights??

Barcelona red! I just installed the DEPO brand lights from eBay and the wires were long enough and the lights do not move around at all! They were $137 so the few extra bucks were worth it I recommend these!

Just thought of something. Are these lights fairly bright? I mainly want them for looks but actually being functional would be nice as well. thanks again

I bought those ones off Amazon! They are on every day for hours at a time. Had them for about 6 months now with no problems at all!

    Payed $80 for them
