On the fly raise and lower??

Does anyone make a hydraulic or pneumatic kit? I want to be able to drop the rear of my 2010 prerunner sport whenever I want. I'm not looking to slam it to the ground but a good 6" would be nice Loading bikes, dogs, ect.
I have access to a full hydraulic shop. Ideas??

Ya... I'm not sure that there's even 6" of up-travel on the Prerunner.
Maybe 4"?

Only thing I can think of would be to build something that would grasp the axle and frame and compress the springs.



Or a ramp.

 

Its going to be difficult without a new setup that doesn't involve your leaf springs, you could bag it and link it but its really going to be more trouble than its worth IMO. I think a step and a ramp will be better in the long run.

Your truck already have a pneumatic setup that will probably get you close to 6 inches. Its in the top left of the wheel in this picture

 

Also not terribly supportive of a Prerunner's designed usage.

Idea: There's a kid in Dallas who is stuck with a 5 lug and is trying to figure out how to lift it and install bigger tires and make it look like a Prerunner.

He needs a Prerunner, you need the loading height of a 5-lug.

Trade trucks, 2 problems solved.

 

It's one way to do it. Not very quick though. Lol

 

custom mounted hydraulic rams directly next to the shocks would do the trick. Only thing is they would have to be detachable for when you're actually driving. Major PITA basically and not worth the effort.
