Just a quick intro from the southern state of NC, in a small town outside of Charlotte. Today @ approx 2:00 pm I will be picking up my new 2013 Tacoma... Its a black double cab prerunner, 4 cyl with SR5 package.

I had a Silverado, but the V8 sucked gas and I have to commute to work... So I sold it and got a small car (mistake), I can't stand having a car after having a truck... Plus my wife is due to have our 1st child in 2 weeks so I needed something bigger with space. After almost 2 weeks of haggling with the Internet Sales Manager he offered a deal I couldn't pass up. He even found the black w/ graphite interior color scheme I wanted and had it delivered.

I won't be able to afford any expensive mods at the moment.. I will prob tint the front windows, also like the Mag Light mod I found on here.

If anybody wants to see some pics lemmmmme know and I will later today.

Congrats, on baby and truck., and welcome! We love pics here, so of course post pics. How is the 4 cylinder with the double cabs weight? Seem to have enough power?

    Thanks guys!
I will try to post a couple pics this evening

The small town is Ranlo... Old textile mill town.

Dave, for my needs, daily driving.. light hauling on flat country its fine. Anything more I would recommend the 6. That's based off limited test drives though, can answer better in due time.

Oh, FYI, depending on which car seat you get, or got by now, you may need to put it in the middle of the back seat. That's the only way mine would fit. Figured I'd share that with you, for new baby.

Yea I was curious about that.... I'm guessing there isn't any safety issues with it being in the middle?

Nope, just use the 2 inside mounting points for the car seat, and good to go. When I first tried mine, I was like WTF, cause my passenger seat had to be all the way forward to even get it in. I was disappointed, cause I figured no way Wifey was gonna wanna ride with her knees in her chest, than tried it in the middle, and all good. The 2 inside latches are pretty much same distance apart as if behind passenger or driver side. Biggest pain is, lifting seat with baby out from middle.

For my new little baby girl , the seat fits awesome in the middle, rear facing, and the latch system is quick and flawless. And my 8 and 10 year olds can sit on each side nice and comfy.
