Im surprised i haven't heard it from her. She is still in school and we don't live together thats my excuse.

Connie and I both coach...for too many years .....both of my kids played..
Now we just recycled down to the little ones again; 3-8 year olds ; PLUS it is a paid "gig"......

All kidding aside, nothing wrong with that. I dated my ex for 6 years and that is one reason I never proposed..her mother specifically asked me to not ask till she was done with school and to please respect her wishes. I did..dropped her after 6 years because we talked about moving to Florida and I figured I better decide if she's the one I want to marry. A 23 yr old woman who can't or won't do a thing for herself and has been this way for 6 years..nah....

Im a firm believer of not rushing into marriage. My best friend had been married since he was 20, has two kids, and he is always stressed, seems like he is not even happy. Theres nothing wrong with getting married when your young its just not for me. I want to be able to able to spend my money on things like a 36" LIGHT BAR while i still can.

 

Unless she's awesome and shares your passion for offroading. Sarah wants my truck when we have kids lol. Might have to switch back to the stock exhaust tho :/

 

And add a snorkel...

 

Rushing isn't just an age thing, but I agree it's something more younger people say that they think they rushed. My buddy got married at 22 and is almost 40 now, never regretted it.

That said, I was 30 and my wife was 42 when I asked her after not even 1 1/2 years..married her less than a year later. Been together over 10 years, married almost 8 and no huge issues. LOL I am the spender, she never buys anything and I'm always going to concerts and buying truck stuff.

 

Mine isn't as much into cars, but she lets me do my thing. 20 or more concerts a year and I almost always go without her..she doesn't care for most of my music. That said I make sure to get her to a couple of shows a year for putting up with it..

She likes going offroading with me, she was actually pretty excited when i made her spot for me lol. She says the same thing i do about spending money on my truck, its my money and thats how i want to spend it, i might as well while i still can. She isn't a fan of how much time i spend on here though.

 

My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy for spending so much time on here and money on my truck. A vehicle is just something to get him from point A to point B. Nothing more. He doesn't get how I can "love" my truck. I feel bad for him sometimes...hehe.

 

Do what I do..find something that annoys the shit out of her. Do it early and often. She will be begging you to come here haha..

Seriously, mine is the same but I have a partial defense.."well dear, I read about the delay wiper mod and bought the part there when I couldn't find it locally"..
