My little buddy - Mocha. She is a yorkie straight up and certainly is a terrior.

Quite manly I know, but she (besides my wife) is my best friend. Knows how to make my day that much brighter.

Mainly just if you thought it was accurate. I read (on Amazon) a lot of the accuracy has to do with how you get the swab though.

They had the vet do the test. It was really accurate for them and they are happy with the results. I knew the dog they had tested was a pit mix. They found out that she is pit and spitz mix. It answered a lot about her personality and motivations. She's a fantastic dog.

Just adopted her this evening, but the city animal welfare place won't let her leave until she's spayed so I don't get to bring her home until Monday.

I'm so excited to have a dog again! She's about 3 months old, looks like a border collie/hound dog mix, and her name at the pound is Polly. But I think her name is going to be Gypsy. :) Can't wait for Monday!!

About $105 (cost of the test & the fee visit) & it took about two weeks for the results. It's cheaper to buy the test directly from the manufacturer but they opted to have the vet do it so that the risk of a bad swab was minimized.

This is the test that was used - http://www.wisdompanel.com/insights/

Edit: The above test is what they would have done if they were to do it again. They had a blood test done, $120, 10 days. Only 25% of her DNA was identified.

Dex goes in for boosters in 2 weeks, I figure if I were to get the vet to do it I'll just add it on to a visit so I don't have to make a separate trip and pay the fee
