Anyone ever been to Canaan valley West Virginia? Is it any good? How does it compare to snowshoe? If you've been to both

I think Timberline West Virginia is there. I've only been once and it was fun. They only had like two trails open but it was better than massanutten haha, i guess its not hard for that to be true though. I've never been to snowshoe yet but supposedly snowshoe is really good for the east coast

Well got my board bag in yesterday. Dakine Low roller 165, picked it up on the house for $95+tax/shipping.(they may have a few more if you guys want, it was like $130 but they had it on sell) It’s really nice bag, and bigger than my board by about 4 or 5” so i have plenty of room for gloves, pants, jacket, socks goggles, belts, hats, maybe a helmet.(board is a 153) FYI the bag it self is water proof(tested it by pouring water on it and letting it sit for 20+ min) but the zippers will leak water.

Cased it on a little jump yesterday because I didnt know what the landing was like, and ended up stretching out my back (left) ankle and now it hurts to bend forward. Fack

I should still be able to teach but no serious riding for me for a little while, and just when they set up the brand new park too!

I know how that goes, I had knee surgery 2 years ago and this is the first year I can ride 100% but only for a limited amount of time I cant got 100% balls out park and steeps for 8 hours my knee just doesn't like it. Hope you get back out there soon. What resort do you teach at? Sun Valley? I teach at Holiday Valley, small resort with tiny hills in western new york.

All new terrain park this year in a new location with new features! It opened last Saturday and OMG its fucking awesome! 10 times better then years prior. Really well built features and really fun features. I progressed more in that first afternoon than I did the entire beginning of the season up till then with the temp park they built. The only downside is that they skipped the beginner stages of the progression. The park has a lot of intermediate and advanced rails and features, and kids who dont know what they are doing can seriously hurt themselves. Hopefully when I get a bit better and a bit more fluid with the park I can get a little video together of it. Im not that good at park, and am getting warmed up and familiar with most of the features.

Where is this at? Boxes are amazing to learn on and so are wider rails. That's what I learned on to help get over the fear of skinnier stuff. Also what's great about boards is that you can just 50-50 stuff and not have to boardslide.
