Looks like I was destined not to go this year. A good friend of mine passed unexpectedly this weekend. He has one of the largest privately owned gun collections "in these parts"... allegedly over 500. I've handled at least a couple hundred of them!!! He loved to show them off.

I've really enjoyed the previous runs... even in the snow and rain. It looks like an incredible turnout with lots of newcomers and out of area folks. Be safe, pull in the mirrors... and stay warm!

only calling for 1-2 inches, shouldn't make it that bad...

Cant honestly say ive seen a prerunner get up it on its own, but i have pulled one up the last little bit of it. Youd have to get a hell of a running start, esp if it snows

Damn John, that's not the way to start off the new year. Let me know if there is anything I can do to show my support. I'll be praying in the meantime. Go be a good friend, it's important!

I don't always go camping, but when I do, I make sure it's on a mountain, in the middle of winter during a snow advisory :D

Before I go checking the last 20 pages I have not yet read, early crew is still Friday, noon, at target right?
