stripped bed?

I was wondering what the bed of the 2nd gen. tacoma looked like stripped.

 

Only one way to find out.....

There is none
its a composite bed insert... which means that that the bed IS the bed and that its directly bolted to the chassis

 

im pretty sure that there isnt anything under that plastic type top like most trucks that have a metal peice under soo i dont suggest trying to strip that off cuz when you do you wont have a bed anymore

 

You talking about bobbing everything (like fenders and what not) or just taking the composite part out??

Cause like everyone said- The composite part IS the bed...Take that out and you'll have frame.

Were you interested in taking the bed off completely and making a flatbed or something?

I'm sure the entire bed could come off.....

 

Yeah i think your right Jan. The whole bed can come off if you take the 6 (or 4) torx bolts out and then 4 underneath the truck chassis

 

it sounds like he just wanted to go down to the metal like most trucks had... i dont think a second gen would look good as a flat bed
