my 10/22 has NEVER ran federal bulk packs for anything. Maybe 3 or 4 rounds before it would double feed or jamb up. However I have read tons of people saying thats all they run in their 10/22's....I guess each gun will be a little bit different

Hot knife through butter in my 15-22...any feed issues seem to stem more from the magazine side than anything for me.

I'm most likely moving out with my gf sometime next year and I'm trying to buy all of my toys before I have to pay for rent and every thing else every month. Kinda in the same boat I guess

Ruger Mark II or IIIs have a rep for eating anything. In a perfect world my dealers would have had a threaded SR22 for me to look at, but in today's environment I only had the Mark III 22/45 Lite to look at, so I bought it. I like it better than my Buck Mark so far.

I have a Mark 111 22/45 and it will take any ammo you give it, even if it's had a brick through it since the last time it was cleaned...:anonymous:

High gloss? or just stained? If it is quality wood:rimshot:, just be careful not to dink it up or scratch it. Wipe it down with pledge for the good shine. Consider a spray wax. Any hunting rifle with a wood stock will show wear over time. I carry mine like a badge of honor. It's not pretty anymore, but it tells stories.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
Golden bullets (225 pack) ran 100% in my SR22 and 10/22 couple weekends ago. Zero malfunctions. I was actually impressed with them and will buy more given the opportunity.

Also finished up a 525 fedbulk pack. Never had any real issues with them aside from a couple ftfs per box.

Never had any feed issues either on my mp15-22. After a few thousand rounds I have never had a misfire with Federal or Remington bulk. Such a great one to shoot. I need to spend like a whole day with the 15-22 and leave my big toys, they get really expensive after an hour or two.

Why not go with a Sig 1911 in .45? Or any other 1911, for that matter- then get a .22 conversion kit for a 1911, and you have both bases covered. The .45 is a bit more spendy, but I feel the recoil of a 9mm much more than I do that of a .45. Plus, with the 1911, you don't have the all day trigger pull of a DA pistol to deal with.

Im just not sure why you think you wouldnt get it :notsure:

Sure it might take a while but there is currently no reason you shouldnt. Your best bet would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can give you a rough eta.

The RI 1911's are around $400 iirc. cheaper than that would be the ruger MKIII or the Browning buckmark around $300

The Sig I was looking looking at was 399. What I would probably get was the GSG 1911, made in the same factory for 349.

Also now kicking around the idea of a 6 shooter...

I dont see why not :notsure:

Ive ordered it plenty of times but I think it usually has a "ORM-D" sticker on the box.
