If you have any videos on youtube that are getting a lot of views and commens i recommend signing up for Google AdSense and monitizing your videos.

Here is my story. A few years ago at the Pismo Jamboree I filmed a video of BrandonH pulling a Tundra out of the sand. It's not a very exciting video but a year after posting it started getting a lot of views and comments.

It was getting so many views that I thought I could make some money off of it by signing up for Google Ad Sense. It now has over 575,000 views and I don't understand why.

Sure enough it's making over $50 per month since signing up. It's like free money.

    Here is the video.

Anyone else make money from their YouTube videos? How much do you make?

I've heard about this but I didn't know it was true or not. Do you know how many views your video has to have before you start getting paid?

BTW, I'm not trying to make money by posting this video here.

I only get paid when people watch the video on YouTube. Not on other sites or forums like TW.

You are not supposed to talk about how much you make, don't let google see this thread or they will end your partnership with them.

    I think it's $1-3 depending on a few factors per 1000 hits
