I thought chemo typically makes you feel like a bag of shit for a few hours, then you slowly recover? Sucks to have to go through that but if it makes ya live longer then it must be worth it.

Thats good news for your cousin with the diagnosis being a form of leukemia, way more treatable/curable than full blown cancer for sure Jake.. Especially being young, I mean it def. sucks and all but trust me it could be so much worse..

It does, except a few days is more like it between chemo & radiation it pretty much wipes out everything, cancer cells/good cells /white & red blood cells, your immunity system & if you have multiple series of radiation

it starts blowing holes thru your bones....

A great idea! I have gone on runs with that group a few times. That is a great crew and they have a great following. The only requirement is to have a CB when you are on the run for communication. They promote getting a HAM and license but it is not required.

Aside from Jeeps, I have seen Hummers, Tacomas, Trundras, and Colorados on the runs. I ended up surprising some of those heaps what a stock tacoma could conquer.:D There were only a few spots I couldnt make it through due to the width of the paths.

Great group of guys, very mature and knowledgable. Roger runs it and really knows his stuff. Have done a couple runs with them at Truckhaven in another vehicle.

    Well, that leaves me out....:notsure:

haha, I've checked out their page thats about all, but very organized, alot of events/runs , they do volunteer trail cleanup & building too IIRC

I did a few days volunteering with S.D.O.R.C. (the old CORVA group) out at CC building a motocross track for the kids about 2 years ago, another good group of people...

Speaking of Fish Creek, remember that kid that went missing out there? He abandoned his parent's Grand Cherokee some where along Fish Chreek. http://eastcountymagazine.org/node/2826 . He never turned up, did he?

I don't see how he didn't see or find anyone walking back down the way he came back in, seems a little bit fishy to me.
