    Richland is too boring unless there's at least 4" or so of snow on the ground. Right now it doesn't look good for that much.

    I know where to make the eventual crucial turn, to the left at Penley, then after a bigger stream crossing- left on to the main dirt road- Sampson. Then Sampson to Blue Ridge parkway.

    Stay on Richland Rd, until you start seeing MANY no trespassing/ keep out, etc type signs.

    Even the bridge after the pavement ends says private bridge- do not cross. It was evident everyone ignored it and went through the stream. The private road is about a half mile or so.

    Then you get to the first and hardest stream that is followed by wet steep rocks- about the lengrh of the truck. It must be close to 45 degree angle or so to the vertical AND a little off camber.

    First 1/3 is the hardest. Middle 1/3 has lota of smaller cobble size rocks. Last 1/3 is actual dirt road.

    No way a Pre Runner can do this. Would be extremely difficult after rain!
