i see, that makes sense! so any suggestions in shocks for the rear? i was thinking about using 1500 billies ment for 3-4" lift but ive heard different things about 1500 in the rear

im also getting expos but not getting the 5100s because it will limit my down travel. im getting 10" fox remresi shock to gain droop. i have been told these would work great so thats what im going with.

edit: by the way they are not billies 1500 they are 5100 series

to bad my wallet already made it for me -__-

im just gonna have to go with the rcd/billies 1500 cause its what i can afford & i dont wanna be driving with half of my truck lifted & half at stock height

    i'll get fox oneday

what about staying with stock shocks in the rear but with ap expo packs installed? is that even possible with the added height?

maybe i'll just bottom my shocks out every bump but witll have the leaf packs out of the way already.

im just a little ansy since ive had all the parts for over 3 months sitting in the garage, minus the 4 shocks -___-

i just installed my spindles today & dont wanna drive w/ that lean since my rear is stock

Stock shocks are not long enough to support the added height (3-4") of the Expos. You will have to run new/longer shocks, theres just not other way around this. Well unless you use the shock extenders from Toytec, those might work and enable you to use stock shocks.

I'm sure I get shit for this, but I wouldn't say they're bad, they just push the shock down and provid a new attachment point. If i remember correctly they are good, per Toytec, for 2-4" of lift. Super easy to install and really light on the wallet.

i just need to find out 1 more thing before i swap out my rear packs for the expos.. will i need a new center pin for the leaf packs since the are thicker or is that just for add-a-leafs?

Pretty good actually. The shocks are from Mohawk mike truck and they don't fit the 2 gen with out a adaptor.

Is anyone running shock extenders with OME N182's. I got allpro expo's and had to run a 1 1/2" block to get it even all around. When I first got the expo's the truck was even all around, but in about two months they settled. With the 1 1/2" block it has stayed even but It seems as though the N182's are just about at full extension so I'm thinking of going with the shock extenders from Toytec. Any input will be appreciated.
