Regearing to 4.56's

    Here is what I am seeing.

    I also notice that it goes into open loop when coasting. The book says, "Closed loop indicates the oxygen sensor is being used to control the mixture. Open loop indicates that it is not " It also says "It is usually closed exceptwhen the engine is cold or under full throttle acceleration."

    What is your gearing now 4.10 or 3.73?
    If I get a 6" lift with 35", would it be better to have 4.10 or like you 4.56 since I'm not toying anything(yet!)?:cool:

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    It will go into Open Loop when coasting, as the fuel injectors are cut off, until around 1200 rpm.

    I would say do the 4.56 since you are lifting and running 35's....plus if you do start towing you will be better off in higher elevations when towing. you'd save money if you wanted to regear again later just a thought
