I'm going to be installing my maxtrac spindles soon and need some help on deciding what rear setup to go with to level me out.

    Current setup

    Front:
Bilstein 5100 Set at .85 (will set at 0 when installing spindles)
    Eibach springs 1.6 lift.

    Rear:
Bilstein 5100 for regular 2" lift
    Toytec 1.5 aal

When spindles are installed i will be adjusting the Bilsteins to 0 setting and still using the Eibach springs. So that should give me about 5.6" lift if i'm correct.

    Rear suspension options so far:

All-Pro Standard Duty Leaf Springs 3" lift (might need blocks, whats your opinion on possibly adding 1.5" block)

All-Pro Expedition Leaf Springs 4" lift (mixed reviews on ride quality without weight in bed. some say its stiff, others say they like how it rides, or once you have weight in the back it rides really good so i'm kind of confused on how it truly rides)

Use my current 1.5 aal, and add 2 inch block (prob ride like crap, if anyone is using a setup like this please fill me in on the ride quality and if you have run into any issues.)

that would help. im gonna use the extenders as a temp fix till the shocks i want are available for purchase. i suggest find out the thread size because toytech only has 2 available sizes

can anyone confirm for me that the ebiach coils really do give the 1.6 lift as advertised by toytech. i contacted dsm & spoke with them about running the ebiach coils with some 1500's & they said it would NOT provide any lift.

    Whos right???

i'm hoping that it does provide the lift cause i just finished my lift install front 24.5" & rear 26.5 and am 2" higher in the rear..so that 1.6 lift would get me pretty close to level :)

my opinion is scrap the blocks if your actually gonna be doing off road driving. its gonna feel like a horse without a saddle. if your gonna be doing a lot of road driving use blocks or add-a leaf.

your best choice & probably the most expensive is to go with the ap leaf springs.

i just installed the ap-expo 20 min ago & installe my maxtrac's yesterday
my current measurements are 24.5 in front & 26.5 in the rear.
im running trd stock billies & coils as of now.
hoping to gaine a inch after a ebiach & 1500 install

I am sure this has been asked a million times but I am running the shock extenders on my rear factory TRD shocks. I have the non-TSB springs, a 2 inch block, and a Toytec add-a-leaf for non-TSB springs. Can anyone advise as to which model of the 5100s I should use for my application? I am thinking it should be model # F4-BE5-B110-T5 but I wanted to find out some other opinions.

    Thanks

How's the ride with the ap-expo? I was initially going to get the ap-expo since it seems like the best option to level me out with the additional lift in front with the eibach sprigs, but I'm concerned on how my ride would be since majority of the time I don't have any additional weight in the bed.

i love the ride so far! i had to remove my shocks tho so it was a little bumpy for now. but once i have the shocks on it will be great!
    however my bed isnt empty..

i have a 65lb steel headache rack. maybe another 60lb with a tool box w/ tools inside so that helps

if your going with 1500's id say get the ones meant for 3-4" of lift since the block pluss add-a-leaf togeter should be 3 or 3 1/2". not exactly sure how much that is. but in my opinion go with the BE5-B110-T5

I went from the bilstein 5100 set at 1.75 with stock coils, and the regular stock 3 leaf pack with a 1.5 aal and the rear was a little higher (rake). I lowered the bilstein 5100 and set at .85 with the eibach coils and 1/4" spacer on driver side for lean and i did notice the front end was higher and it leveled me out, but didn't take any measurements so i'm not sure how much more lift it exactly gave me. Still have to wait and see if i notice much of a drop once they settle.

    Pure sex!

What is the backspace on those wheels?

Any front, head on shots to see how far they stick out?

No problem Chris. Kinda of figured that was what it was going to be. My 16x8 Mickey Thompsons are 4.5 BS with -12 offset.

Trying to find out what backspace/offset wheels are out there that would kind of tuck the front wheels back in a little since the spindles push them out.

    Know what I mean?

I hear ya. Not sure what would do it. Then you might have troubles with it hitting the spindle. I really like the look of the wider front stance. Just slings a lot up the sides.
