My thoughts on that are I am going to have Daniel bash into my rear bumper with that new truck of his with the ARB on the front so no harm to him and mine is detroyed. WIN !

You want a new front bumper too right? Cuz then I could be in front of you so when Daniel hits you, your truck loses its front bumper and takes out my rear bumper as well!

Okay guys here goes, a bit of vulnerability here so no outright laughing :p

I need to lose some weight, like a lot of weight. When I first met my wife I was 165 pounds. I don't know exactly where I'm at now, but I think I'm close to 250-260. Never before have I typed that out. In my prime I rode a minimum of 50 miles a day on my bicycle, maxing out at 110 when training for a race.

I've ordered a bike trainer to go in the house and ride. I've got a vitamin and a myriad of health food in the fridge not to mention protein, creatine, multivitamins, and other supplements on hand.

My goal is to be 190 by summer. June 15. What I NEED is people checking up on me, making sure I'm still using the equipment I got, eating right, that sort of thing. I drop weight fairly quickly when I put my mind to it so I don't see this as an unrealistic goal. Our first year of marriage I built my dream bicycle, and this summer I want to be able to use it. Last summer I went out a few times but if I'm honest, I was too fat and heavy to be comfortable or enjoy myself. It was the first time in my life I walked a hill. And I've done a LOT of hills lol.

So yeah, all that to say, I'd like some help in this area. :D
    Thanks in advance!

I also respond very well to monetary challenges, just sayin ;)

How about "mod" challanges as opposed to monetary? :)

O no buddy no insurance fraud for this guy wouldnt travel down that road, just want to destroy it so mama will approve of the funds faster is all :D

Well fist off Ben I commend you for even saying anything because most people just want to deny it their whole lives so good on ya. How big of a pain in the ass you want me to be? I can call and make sure you get up to work out when I get up at 03:15 if you want:DIn all seriousness though I am more than willing to help out in any way I can, I take fitness pretty serious and love to help out/push people to get better. Just let me know buddy and yes come summer time we can get outdoors more and go hiking, great way to get in shape while having fun at the same time.

 well that's mighty fine of you Anna! Don't know why you told Russ first though :p
You most likely work out on base yeah? One of my big setbacks is my frostbite, coupled with a bone syndrome in my feet. Makes running pretty painful. That's why I've always biked. I dunno. There's something really unique about biking for me, but I think down the road I'd like to get more into weight training. Perhaps once I get down to like 210 and have lost the bulk of my weight. Then you and I should talk :)
    Appreciate it man.

Thanks bud! I don't know if I'll get into racing again, we'll see. The bike I built (Rufus) isn't really designed with that in mind. I would t mind building a road bike though once I can fit on one :p

As far as measurements go I'm a 38 waist that used to be a 30. No joke on that one. I don't anticipate getting that small again, I think 32-34 is probably what a healthy waist line is for me. Lol I've got a ton of clothes that I refuse to get rid of even though I haven't worn them in years. Medium t-shirts and size 32 jeans.

I think the biggest thing I need is momentum. I've got it now, I just don't want to lose it. Bike trainer gets here today. New pedals (orange clip less) will be here Monday. I need to get a scale.

Yeah I work out on base just due to the fact it is free, if it wasnt I would'nt have a problem paying to stay fit. The good thing is there are plenty of other ways to do cardio other than running, which I hate also, so it wil work to your benifit that you like biking so much. A lot of people dont think you can loose weight by weight training but they are wrong, as long as you design your program the proper way you can still lose weight and build mucle at the same time. I will check on you to make sure you're using your new machine on a constant basis and then we can gte into the weight training.
