So I am up in the air if I want to run my Spidertrax spacers with the FJ wheel. I have to do my brakes so I have to take them off and am thinking of running the 1" Bora Spacer...My fear with the 1.25" is the stress on the wheel bearing and but I guess people do run a 1.25" spacer with a set of wheels that have a 4.5"BS. What are your guys thoughts?

As long as you're using hubcentric adapters, you will be OK. A wider stance definitely looks better.

Yeah I think I will stick with the Spidertrax so I dont have to buy another pair of spacers for the front...they are hubcentric.

TW member Zombie Runner ran 1.25" spacers on wheels that already had 4.5" BS (as the TRD fj's do), and he couldn't even turn out of his driveway. Wheels were pushed too far outside the fenders.

The FJ TRD rims are wide enough on a Tacoma.

If I remember correctly the TRD FJ wheel are a 4.75" BS with a +15mm offset...they are wider by they are a 16x7.5" wheel...I dont see a problem if I am running a hubcentric spacer. Just trying to save a $100 and not order the 1" Bora spacers. I figure they will stick out more than now but maybe by 1/2" so it wouldn't be that bad.

15mm - (1.25")x25.4mm = -17mm, so the Spidertrax spacer together with the FJ wheel would be equivalent to running a wheel with -17mm offset. With your front wheels steered at full lock, what clearances are you getting between the tire and the fender liner / mudflap? Now visualize the same tire pushed out on its hub by 1.25".

Opps I forgot the mention about 1/2" more than it does now with a stock TRD offroad wheel + spidertrax...my bad

This! Going from TRD Sport backspacing to the TRD Faux Beadlock backspacing pushed the wheels outwards a good bit. Not sure why you would need spacers. But I guess different lift and tires, maybe.

I have 1.25" spacers in the front already with the stock TRD OR wheels and want to keep it around the same just debating if I want to buy another pair of spacers to keep the same stance by ordering 1" Bora spacers.
