    I thought it might be due to the springs and how they position the axle within the wheel well. I believe 1st gens have that issue more so than 2nd gen. Relocation plates fix that.

    I did not now that, but it makes sense.

    On another note I am strongly considering going to 255 85 16 possibly this spring, hopefully all goes well. :D

    Very true. I am running Deavers that relocate the axel 1/2" forward to fix that issue.

    All the rubbing did not really cause any damage to the tires or fenders from what I can tell. I am going to use some ramps I have laying around to recreate the situation.

    This. You'll still need to trim some plastic in the rear fender wells. And possibly swap out the bolts holding the flares on with flush screws. There's a write up that's been linked in this thread a few times I'm sure on how to fit these tires on a 1st gen.

    I have followed it to a T, but it is lacking when it covers what to trim on the rear.

    Just had my truck put on an alignment rack and the caster was way out of spec on my right front tire. Correcting the caster brought the wheel forward and away from the mud flap that was giving me trouble with rubbing. I already trimmed the mud flap and now I'll have to buy another. Plenty of positive comments about the tires and the look at the tire shop. I'm very happy with this size tire. Snow tonight. I'm looking forward to it.

    Am I backwards or does more caster move the tire back towards the mudflap and less caster move it away from the mudflap ?

    Remove mudflaps, Plasti dip badges/ lower val/ and grill, Plasti dip wheels, 5% tint all around, Tinted tails and 3rd, 55w driving lights in rear, Blue LED light strip in bed, Blue LEDs in cab/ cup holders...
    I thought it depended if you had upper control arms?? Idk if I'm thinking the right thing but if adjust on the lowers it moves the wheel back and if you adjust on be uppers it moves the wheel forward? Or vice versa?
