Ok this could get lengthy......

In short what we do with this CDC (Compression Damping Control) Valve and valving configuration is set up the valving so that our normal production spec is #4, and then you the customer has the option to fine tune your ride based on 3 - 2 - S (softer settings) & 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - H (firmer settings). This give a distinct purpose for the upgrade option, and not just the option to stiffen the ride. Ride is subjective to each users terrain conditions, weather conditions, driving style ect. so this is a great way to make your shocks work and feel the way you want.

What your options are.....shock service labor prices are ICON service dept prices.....Labor rates may vary from an authorized dealer.

Option 1: Purchase new remote reservoir shocks or coilovers -
(Piggyback CDC option coming soon)

• CDC option $271.95 per set / $135.97 per shock

Option 2: Add CDC valve to an already existing set of Remote Reservoir
shocks -

What's involved if doing it on your own - You will need to have someone familiar with rebuilding this style shock take them apart to install the CDC Valve and also swap out the shim stack with the provided shims (must order specifically for your vehicle as it will be Vehicle Specific). Keep in mind this is a great time to change out the seals and oil as you will have the shock a part any way, might as well refresh them at the same time.

• $271.95 per set / $135.97 per shock + Labor

Through the ICON service Dept......

• $271.95 per set / $135.97 per shock + $65.00 per shock labor charge

• $271.95 per set / $135.97 per shock when standard rebuild is being performed. So this would break down as the price of the CDC Valve + $125.00 per shock for the ICON standard rebuild.

Option 3: Add CDC valve to a IFP coil over (standard coil over ICON or DR)

What's involved if doing it on your own - you will be purchasing the ICON reservoir upgrade kit and CDC valves. This is a lot more involved as far as labor and will require changing the valve stack, changing top caps and upper mount, and installing reservoir into the new top cap. New oil will be required with this install. Again we recommend a new seal kit at the same time because you will have the shock completely apart and this is a good time to change them out.

Yes it is....and I did not get the pricing up but I will Monday or Tuesday.

Just curious but do you all have a Roehrig, SPA, or other, shock dyno and do you measure in pounds force & inches or Newtons & millimetres?? Either way is fine, I can convert it to pounds & inches.

Look forward to getting a look at the dyno sheet/s.

 

Dyno sheets would be interesting to see, because the compression adjustment appears to affect only fluid displaced by the shock shaft.

Yes we are working on the full release to come out in the next week or two. They are also working on creating the dyno sheet as requested in a understandable view. I am waiting on engineering to provide it to me, then I will get it posted.
