What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I have never adjusted mine, nor even felt like I had to.

What %? and i Love it! I cant even tell my side windows are tinted any more at night!

NO not at all! i cant tell its tinted at all and it keeps the glare out since the rest of my windows are dark...at night time i cant even tell my side windows are tinted! Its awesome! Not as dark as it seems

 

No just get really bright off road lights to over compensate and blind oncoming traffic.

 

Holy hell that's dark for a windshield. 20%? I assume the rest of the windows tinted make it look darker than it really is though.

 

This, and not to mention it's a bullseye on your truck when you pass a LEO. This is just an FYI I'm not trying to ruffle feathers, just don't start an off topic thread later on how the cops keep "messing" with you. I'm sure it looks cool though.

 

"I can't even tell" just tells me you're not very perceptive. My side windows are only 35% (because that is the legal and safe limit) and I can tell an absolute and definite difference from when they are rolled down to when they are up. Go take the tint off your windshield before you hit something between dusk and dawn and either hurt someone and/or get a nasty fine for having illegal tint, and rightfully illegal I might add.

That is my opinion.

It's not but.....It's still below your AS-1 line sooooo technically, still illegal and dangerous.

Cool. My problem with the tracks mounted at the bed rail is they are pointless for tying anything down unless its taller than the bed. I don't know about you guys but I rarely have stuff that's higher than the bed rails. It makes way more sens to me to have tracks installed low or on the floor of the bed.

 

If it's lower than the bed rails I don't bother tying it down.

 

The whole things 40% and its well below my as1 line but I have sensitive eyes

 

Guess I'm a stickler for having my crap secured. I hate it when stuff is sliding around in the bed or in the cab. But I guess if you're just driving around on fire roads......then no biggie.
