I was very unhappy with the no-goal. On the replay you can see that Gagner was pushed into Quick - but the bigger thing is that they were outside the crease. Especially during the alleged interference. Gagner's skate got caught in Quick's pad, but they were well outside the crease. In the replay you can see that Quick was the one that got into Gagner - not the other way around. That's Quick's fault (in my mind).

So with Quick getting into Gagner - outside the crease - should've been a goal.

Just glad Yak has great hand-eye coordination, and popped in that amazing goal.

As a person who has never had a hometown NHL team I found myself growing up rooting for a couple teams. The Canucks have always been my favorite especially since their '94 run, I was 13 and if you look at the Seahawks seasons from 90-96 you won't blame me for following another sport.

My best friends all through Junior High and High school were cousins who's families both moved to Seattle from Detroit and were insane Detroit fans. My first live NHL game was a Detroit at Vancouver match, which I ended up seeing 8-10 times in the late 90's early 2000's. (I rooted for Vancouver) So naturally I followed the Red Wings quite a bit as a #2 and they had a great run in the late 90's.

Outside of that I like a few other western teams, really just meaning when I'm watching a game not including Vancouver I always end up rooting for these teams.

Who do you guys root for after your #1 or are you a hometown team only fan?

For Me:

1) Vancouver
2) Detroit

Rest in no real order:
Phoenix
Carolina - My wife moved to Seattle at 17 from Charleston S.C., all of her family is still there.
Edmonton
Nashville
Chicago

#1 Winnipeg

#2 Vancouver because the Moose were their farm team and there are alot of players who I watched develop in the AHL

#3 Whatever team has players that I have taken in my hockey pool

I have to agree with Oz. Except substitute Canucks with my hometown Hurricanes. I kinda keep up with the Flyers but that's because Coach Laviolette is awesome.

And because Laviolette plus Hurricanes =

Before the Whalers became the Hurricanes I just watched ECHL in Greensboro.

Yep, gotta always root for the local team ...cause we all wanna bring the big party home! I also root for the the hometown kid named Jonathan Toews and his team because he is a true leader... used to root for the Canucks when I lived in B.C, back in the days when the Jets were but a memory...
