I was messing around with an XT Series TrekLight Bar today and found out that the mounting points DO in fact slide from side to side!

There's a little bit of play when the mounting points are on either end of the bars, so mounting to something slightly wider than the mounting range should take up the last of that slack.

Here is the mounting width range for the XT Series TrekLights:

4" TrekLight XT: One mounting point (can be moved all the way left or all the way right along the bar).

6.5" TrekLight XT: One mounting point (can be moved all the way left or all the way right along the bar).

9" TrekLight XT: One mounting point (can be moved all the way left or all the way right along the bar).

12" TrekLight XT: 1.5" apart to 8.75" apart

18" TrekLight XT: 1.5" apart to 14.75" apart

22" TrekLight XT: 1.5" apart to 18.75" apart

36" TrekLight XT: 1.5" apart to 32.75" apart

The XT lights are really versatile for mounting options, give great light, and are a great deal in this group buy! Looks like a win, win, win to me!

I was more or less asking if one flood pod would be sufficient.

Depends on application, but I would recommend two to provide even light on both sides of the vehicle. That way you would have a 120 degree beam of light.

If I order it now and pay for for it, can I get it shipped asap? or do I have to wait until the GB is over?
