Empty, probably a lot but the purpose of this type of tank is so you still have the bed space so you can build up an expedition vehicle. You'd just offset the weight on the other side with say on board water, extra batteries, camp fuel, etc. And believe me, you aren't spending $2k on a custom built fuel tank unless you have a good reason to need it :)

GLWS OP, guys on here for the most part, arent into that sort of off-roading so they rag on the product someone put alot of thought into and who is trying to help a couple people out. Sorry for their rashness.

:0 it looks pretty dang snazzy though. :)

I would buy it if I had the cash but I don't. It seems it would almost be a 200lb addition to the side once its full. I wonder how it would ride with no compensation on the other side.

Just mount a fuel cell from summit racing underneath and use an electric fuel pump to transfer gas into the main tank. Much cheaper alternative.

I was not giving you a bad time about posting, more about bumping, rather 'over-bumping'

And then I was telling you "I" would not pay that much. To each his own.

I guess you got all the attention you were looking for though....

I would buy this in a heart beat.. however to be honest the price is a bit steep.. I do understand that "made in North America" does come at a cost.. I am usually willing to pay that cost though..

Also I am in Canada so shipping would suck..

Fuel is 20 - 30 miles away for me.. The more I can carry the better.. My 06 Mega-Cab carried 250 liters or so..

They've sold 10 in the six months or so it's been available.

This is on my list - Fueling from and dealing with jerry cans is varying degrees of suck. That said, I have other things I need to get to first.

Awesome tank, expensive but looks like tons of R&D and fab work justify the price. Not your average fuel cell.I have no need for it but I'm sure there is a market for the serious expo builds

I think this tank is awsome but i wouldnt want that much weight on one side of the truck. so i think if i ever did something like this i would put a tank on the other side aswell in order to even the weight out.
