Sorry for late response, I just got off work. I had one of those issues where if I put it down now, I'd forget what I was doing come Monday, and it would suck.

From what I'm looking at, the best meetup spot is North Bend Burger King (I could probably come up with better if I had the time, but we all know the North Bend meeting spot).

Looking at Google's suggestion, it suggests we 'turn left' onto an unnamed road after we cross the Raging River on HWY18, then wander east. Taking this route is supposed to be 50 min to our destination.
However, I'd like to first try 104th, making the crossing over Lake Creek, then continue down Rattlesnake Road. If that works, it takes us 30 minutes to the destination, and then we can continue down the 364th Ave and so on, which would make a nice loop of 1.5 hours as a baseline trip.


Is everyone good for North Bend Burger King at 9am?

 

FYI I'm not sure if there's really any ghost town to see, but it's the only ghost town on that website that said 4x4.... and when it says 4x4, well damn, that's all the excuse a man needs!

It looks like rattlesnake rd is the 1st road south of the I-90/Hyw 18 intersection. Is that where you will be starting from?

 

Yeah. Google says you can't do it, but there's that little hairline thing that crosses the creek and meets with SE 104th Street. Knowing my luck it's probably some scary trailer trash dude's private road through his backyard

EDIT: Just got street view! wasn't allowing it before. The road looks like a great option!

EDIT 2: looking at the street view, there may be gates to contend with. 104th to Rattlesnake is still good, however the south entrance/exit might be looking more like 208th Ave or 298th Ave.

 

I think I know where you are talking about. Just south of the intersect of Hwy 18 and Issequah-Hobart Road. Is this correct?

Are you insistant on going all the way to North Bend to meet up? I am coming from south, Kent-Covington. I can meet you at that Hwy 18/ Issa-hobart intersect.

 

I only chose NB because I'm typically the only person coming from the south. I'd much rather meet like you say. If this link works, this is where I'm thinking
