Especially when the contractor decides to do you a favor and strips back the last 4ft of jacketing and neatly separates all of the "tangled" wires, putting all of the colors together with the rest of the same colors :goingcrazy:

If I were to get bilstein 5100's and new coils (undecided which ones yet) and an AAL.... will I need to get new UCA's as well? what would be the result if I were or were not to get them. Just an extra cost that I don't know if I'll need right off the bat.

Depends on what you set your Billies at. Most will say that stock UCA's will be fine for up to 2.5" of lift. More lift than that then your alignment will be out of specs without UCA's. When I lifted mine 3" I got an alignment and it still pulled a little to the left when driving. Put in some Light Racing UCA's and it rides like stock again except 3" higher with 33's :D

If you lift too high some vehicles can't be aligned to spec and you will eat tires faster depending on how out of spec it is. You can not get them and try to get it aligned and if it is too out of spec for you add the UCA's after. Worst case there is you pay for two alignments.

Makes me glad I was a phone man. Only 10 colors and I can make you a cable with as many wires as you want and you would be able to go right to the wire you are looking for.

Threw on some Ride Rite's yesterday. Non-Tsb 3-leaf pack, stock suspension. Plan to do some towing (boat, travel trailer, etc.) in the near future so I picked these up for Christmas. Even at the min. 5psi, it definitely lifts the back end a bit. Took it for a test drive last night with 40 psi in each and the dude in the camaro at the light did not appreciate my lights shinning all up in his shit. ;) Looks goofy pumped up with no load in the back but damn good to know I have em' when I need em.

How was the wheel falling off for ya?
I had that happen on a '70 chevy c30 at about 70mph on a county blacktop. Sure sent out a shower of sparks when the metal hit the road.

Ok so when it happened all six lugs were on the ground.....so I called a wrecker to lift the front on the truck bc my pos factory bottle jack is too short so then I popped the spare off and realized the lugs were stripped so the wrecker towed me to a local shop and its getting fixed now......late last night I remembered I had my tires rotated last week and the truck hasn't been touched in the 6-8 months prior to that.......hmmmmm

You're going to need a jumper coax to use that SWR meter if you don't have one FYI.
