Anyone have this set up (3 inch spacers, aal)

I know I know billies are the ultimate way to go, but for now I'm looking at a simple spacer and aal kit. Anyone running this set up? Thanks, Zach

 

I ran a spacer kit for a few months on my truck and please hear me out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. i bought spacers thinking this is going to be cheaper. boy was i wrong i have fucked up mutiple things on my front end by running spacers and now i am faced with buying 5100 and welding parts in the front that broke from stress. Just buy the 5100 they arnt that much more.

 

I've have them. I love them for the money and I have no problems with them. Have about 10k on them all ready with no probs.

 

i have 2" toytec spacers up front and 1" blocks in the rear. rides like stock and no problems so far. i think its important to get spacers that go Inside the coil as opposed to top spacers. top mounts are the ones that can break your truck.

You'll end up wasting more money in the long run. If you're doing it because its cheaper just save up some more.

Spacer lifts don't always mess crap up, but you wouldn't want to be the one of the few that has to fix something because of it later on down the road.

Probably 80% of people on here will say just go with the billies. It's for a reason too!

But in the end the choice is yours.

 

This kit is less harmful than spacers: From the drop-down menu, select 885 coils, but delete the the top plate spacers. Cost ends up being just $250.

 

And you can get the same type of kit with diff drop in ebay for around 175

I always find it funny when people put shit lifts on a $30k truck

Do it right or don't do it at all.

 

^This mentality is what prompts some of the us to dump $10k into mods.

 

I have that same lift and im running them on my stock bilsteins.Now im just waiting on some money to get bigger tires and new shocks.The ride quality decreased substantually, but it gives you a cheap lift. Hope this helps your decision.

 

Can I use my stock shocks with the 885's?

 

I dont think you can. you have to run ome shocks or 5100 bilstein 5100
