been there, done that, in my old 91 Toy Pickup... luckily no major damage, just a pushed up bed side behind the tire

scared the bajesus out of me though

to this day, nothing has surprised me more than seeing my own tire roll pass me

I will do something for the audio/visual section. I didnt take any pictures when i did it but i can open my tailgate and take the after pic. I just made a bracket to hold the camera at the oem angle. Took me about 2 hrs.

Losing a rear tire is not as bad as losing a front one. There's less weight on the rear tires, and you still had partial steering control.

Got the CB system install done! Took a little longer than I had planned, but that's probably because I was super anal about wire routing and making things look clean :D

CB's tucked in the center console, out of sight and out of mind, until I want to use it. Going to order a 90° mic adapter because as it is right now the lid wont close with the mic plugged it, but it looks like there should be enough room to put an elbow on it and still close the lid.

All my junk still fits, even my Ka-Bar :D

Mounted the antenna to the passenger side bed tie down rail thingy, with a univeral mount and some washers.

Found a convenient spot to put an external mic.

Just like in the center console, still enough room in there to throw some more crap in it :D

And, just because I could, a PA for it behind the grill, just beside the passenger headlight; can't even see it from outside.

The Chevy's right wheel bearing seized after going around a corner, wheel and drum appeared briefly in the headlights thru the shower of sparks which actually came up over the hood. Wheel, hub and drum continued into the right ditch, backing plate ground away quickly so I was skidding along on the LCA. Kept calm kept it on the road, let it coast to a stop. Young Park Ranger I was and gonna catch the bad guys in the 'cuda that were cutting donuts in the park after hours. Bet they had a good show. Stupid thing for me to do but I was invincible!

got mine first one within 100 km, already have 3 chips... I blame my Thule ski box i think its creating a vacum draft and the rock a flying right in the windshield instead of over the cab.

Really nothing to show...but after WAY TOO LONG...I finally spent the time to do...

    1) The Anytime Fog lights mod...

So EASY! Wish I'd done this a couple of years ago.
