Anyone know where I can buy bar mounts to fit this light? I wanna mount it to my roof rack but it won't unless I fab brackets or buy some sort of tube mount for it.

    Lots.
Are the FJ roof rails the same as the tacoma ones? I doubt it, but maybe.

I forgot which company it was but they sell bar clamps in all sizes to accommodate light bar mounts of various types. I'll try to see if I can find it.

I changed up how the rear lights mount so the front one will be mounted with the 1" tube clamps I have

Well I spent all day working on the wiring and changing out the lower trim panel so I can have the space for the switches. Got it all set to put in and made a horrific discovery. THEY DO NOT FIT BEHIND A SATOSHI GRILL!

I am really bummed out because I thought they would fit, but now I have to figure out a place to put my 20 inch light bar since I still have a stock bumper and it will be stock for quite a while.

Modify your grill so it's only half as deep.

Yeah, I thought about that. That is going to take some time and a lot of skill to make sure it is even when I am done.

Just got off night shift so forgive me if I'm not reading your post correctly, but this might help.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/251334-light-bar-install-lower-grill-opening.html

I did it a few weekends ago and it was really simple and effective.

The cops don't hassle you about it though... I haven't had a front plate in almost 5 years of 4 different vehicles. Plus if you end up getting written up for it it's only a fix it ticket.

That's the same thing I'm doing. CT plates, stationed in Alabama so they don't care, but when I move back to CT I plan on leaving it off until they say something. Then it will give me an excuse to order 2 6" bars for each side of the plate :D

Hooking up my lights now but I'm retarded when it comes to relays. I've got a OTTRAW switch to use with my bar but I'm not sure how to wire it. Has anyone else used a switch other than the one that came with their wirin harness?

I used a basic switch like this because I wasn't a big fan of the switch that came with it.

I am a rookie with wiring and was able to figure it out. All we did was cut off the old switch and put the wires in the back of that switch. I'm not sure this will help because those OTTRAW switches look more complicated but good luck!

Well on the wiring harness there are 3 wires. Black for ground, white for pos, and blue for the LED power in the switch.

Are there three posts on your switch? Generally the one in the middle of the switch will be power from the battery +, then one side will be to the load +(in this case your LED bar), and the other side will be the ground for the switch. If you don't ground it, the switch still works but it won't illuminate.

My switch only needed two wires because it doesn't illuminate so I did not need the grounding wire for my switch

    it actually has 5 poles.

but the wires I have coming into the cab from the relay are a white power, a black ground, and a blue for power to the lights on the switch.

Im thinking that for #8 I should use a fuse tap so that the switch is only illuminated when the ignition is on.

then #2 would be the white wire coming in for power from the relay

as for #3 im not sure bc it says "outgoing to relay, acc, or equip"
Would that be the black ground that I have coming from the relay or?

#7 and #6 are self explanatory

If you click on my pic it will make it fullsize

Oh I see. I've never used a relay before so I'm not much help there. I ran mine straight through a switch. I know that isn't the safest way, but it's a 25 amp switch and my light draws 2 amps haha. So I'm not too worried.
