100K Maintenance..how much?

    My 2006 tacoma is over 100K miles and wanted know if it's best to go to the dealer to have the maintenance done and how much does it normally cost.

    Find out what needs to be done (there are threads all over) and do it yourself, there are probably good write ups on how to do each task on your own.

    Then you can sit back and say you just saved almost 700 bucks.

    Yea..thought it would be that much. I have a friend who knows a friend that is a toyota specialist and will do it for half the price. Probably will go to him. Thanks Jay238. BTW.. are those BMF wheels on your truck?

    Dude, my wife took the 06 4Runner Limited for an oil change, 19.95+tax at the dealer, they tried to get her to agree to a 60k service $852 bucks, ARE YOU HIGH???
    air filters, front and rear diff oil, grease the driveshaft inspect brakes and nitro in the tires ARE YOU JOKING???? I laughed and told her to come home. OH change the coolant....

    I have a 05 I want to tune-up myself.. Have a cousin thats a mechanic but would like to learn and do myself new to taco world.. Are there pretty much threads for everything I need to know??
